I just found this unfinished post in my drafts. What I was waiting for I don't know. Here are two homes with neat use of tile.
The first is in Golden Gate Heights at 14th and Mandalay Lane.
The second on 17th Ave near Judah is pretty unassuming.
Until you look closely at the ececlitic mix of tiles.

I'll have to keep my eyes open for more tile -- it's great...
I usually notice the little miniature tiles -- my aunt started a business years ago importing and selling those little tiles for craft projects. Great for kitchens and bathrooms too.

Some years ago, I remember following a blog where the author would take photos of places and thing in and around the Sunset district, where I lived for half of my life. Ten years later, I found the blog again. Its still so inspiring to see all that I've grown to know all love seen from such a different perspective. Its all very fresh. I especially love the little things you shoot that we tend overlook everyday. Keep up the awesome work, Ill definitely be following this blog.
